The Office of Micro-Credentials develops and manages its micro-credential ecosystem in accordance with institutional regulations, national frameworks, internationally recognised quality standards, and established governance processes. The following documents provide the foundation for the design, delivery, quality assurance, and continuous enhancement of micro-credentials at İzmir University of Economics.

IUE Micro-Credentials Directive — The official institutional framework governing the design, development, assessment, quality assurance, certification, and continuous enhancement of all micro-credentials offered at İzmir University of Economics. The Regulation was approved by the IUE Senate on 29 April 2026.

Higher Education Council Micro-Credential Definition & Framework — The national regulatory framework published by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), establishing the principles and procedures for the development, implementation, and quality assurance of micro-credentials across higher education institutions in Türkiye.
